Greek Reading Class
The Congregational Institute will have a Greek Reading Class through the book of Revelation this summer. It will gather at Central Schwenkfelder Church and over Zoom. Dr. Brad Mellon and Dr. Drake Williams will be teaching it.

Young Adult After Church Lunch
Come out to our Young Adults After Church Lunch on July 13th at 12:05pm. Location: Margaritas on Sumneytown Pike.

Union Network Mission & Beach Overnight
Come serve with us at Cecil and Grace Bean’s Soup Kitchen on Tuesday. We will have a sleepover at the Community Center afterwards, and all head to Ocean City, NJ beach for the day on Wednesday!

Third Saturday Thrift Store Sales & Donations
Our Third Saturday Thrift Shop sales are a vital resource for raising mission funds and a wonderful opportunity for our church and community to browse through thousands of gently used items. We’d love for you to join us in support of this mission opportunity!

Like the progressive dinners held by the youth group at Christmas-time, we'll be visiting a few homes of congregation members to enjoy appetizers, the main course, and dessert!

All Central young families (families with youngest in 5th grade or younger) and families who don’t have a church are invited!

Women's Retreat
This is an invitation to intentionally make space to seek Jesus amid the holiday rush. Ask Me to Pray for You Lunch & Training
After Contemporary Worship/Sunday School, join us for a free lunch and training session in the Gathering Grounds/Hub at 11:50 a.m. This will be a great opportunity to grow in prayer ministry and connect with others who are passionate about praying for others. Let’s show up in unity, ready to serve and pray!

Combined Adult Sunday School (for the summer)
We will have Family Promise, an organization that seeks to prevent and end homelessness. Our church partners with them by hosting families in our Hospitality House for four weeks throughout the year. Come learn about how this organization works with our community to keep families housed.

Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs
Our annual trip to the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs is on Saturday, June 21st at 6:35 p.m. against the Rochester Red Wings, and will be followed by post-game fireworks.

Agape Festival
While our youth and leaders are away, please pray for them! Prayers for good weather, great worship and fellowship with one another, and that the Lord would move in each of their hearts!

Schwenkie Book Club
Our Schwenkie Book Club reads novels, classics, biographies, and social issues and discusses them from a Christian perspective.

Discussion about Peace and Ukraine from a Missionary’s Perspective
We will ask him to have a special session to discuss current dynamics in Ukraine, particularly Eastern Ukraine on June 11th from 7:00-8:30pm at the Gathering Grounds in our church building.

Soup's On!
THE JUNE SOUP’S ON WILL BE ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 11th! All divorced men and widowers are warmly invited to a soup social on the 2nd Thursday of most months from 12PM to 2PM in Fellowship Hall. Enjoy lunch, fellowship, encouragement, and a talk regarding a topic of interest.

Prayer Shawl Ministry Meeting
If you have an interest in being part of a valuable and meaningful ministry, we would love to have you join the Prayer Shawl Ministry! You can learn to knit or crochet, roll yarn, add fringe or combine panels to help others in this ministry. Work at your own pace! All ages are welcome! The group will meet a few times per year and our next meeting is on Monday, June 23rd from 10am-12pm in the Hub.

Congregational Institute
The Congregational Institute, along with Rev. Dr. David McKinley and Rev. Dr. Drake Williams welcomes pastors, lay leaders, and lifetime learners to participate in a week-long intensive class to be held at the Central Schwenkfelder Church.

Salford Pilgrimage
This service will feature congregational singing, a message from a Schwenkfelder pastor, a short historical message, and an ice cream social to follow.

Memorial Sunday
10:30am - We will honor our veterans and worship our Lord for our Connect Service which combines both our Traditional and Contemporary Services.

Spring General Conference
The Schwenkfelder congregations will gather for the Spring General Conference meeting at Central Schwenkfelder Church. During this meeting, you will hear about the activities of our fellow Schwenkfelder churches and future plans.

Please join us at a Soup & Sort Gathering at the Gathering Grounds on May 4th after church and Sunday School at 12:00pm. We will enjoy some warm soup and assemble the health kits. This is a wonderful opportunity to join with your friends and see this project to the end.
