Our next School of Christ will take place on Saturday, February 7 at the Schwenkfelder Library Heritage Center. The topic will be on Schwenkfelders and Pietism. You can read more about this on our denomination’s website: click here.

A brief meeting of the General Conference of The Schwenkfelder Church will take place at 12:00pm prior to the School of Christ. A change to the bylaws of The Schwenkfelder Church has been proposed which will allow flexibility in scheduling annual General Conference meetings. Right now they are required to be held no later than the end of May and no later than the end of October.

The bylaws require that changes be presented at least one month before a meeting to vote on the changes. The February 7th meeting will fulfill that requirement. At the meeting we will also vote on the proposed 2026 operating and mission budgets for the Conference.
