Annual Country Fair

  • Central Schwenkfelder Church 2111 South Valley Forge Road Lansdale, PA, 19446 United States (map)

Fun awaits the whole family!

Our Annual Country Fair is one of the biggest events of the year and we hope you will join us! Our first Country Fair was held over 74 years ago as a way to bring members of the community together to raise money for needy causes. In the years that have followed, this annual event has not only raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity, but it has also become a local tradition for family fun. An old-fashioned day in the country awaits the whole family! Taste homemade baked goods and delicious lunch treats. Browse through hand-crafted treasures and antiques for your home. Find a bargain among thousands of used books and clothing “reruns”. Check back for updates as we get closer to the date!

We need YOUR help to make this ministry a wonderful success!

Spread the word to family and friends and consider how you can help with this tremendous Schwenkie tradition that raises funds for local and world-wide missions. Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up (Friday, 9/19), parking, or working in one of the many food booths, kids’ games, kids’ treasures, attic treasures or clothing re-runs. Help will also be needed to break down everything after closing on fair day. There is a spot for everyone! Volunteer signups will begin several weeks before the fair.

Here are some of the fun things that await you and your family at our Country Fair:

Bakery & Cookie Corner
We will once again have the Bakery and Country Market tables along with the Cookie Corner. Cookie Corner is specifically for larger cookies (2-inch or bigger) sold individually. Bakery if for any baked good including pies, cakes, muffins, breads, etc. while the Country Market offers jams, jellies, salsas, and relishes. Cookie Corner cookies do not need to be individually wrapped, but items for the Bakery Table do. To be successful, we need YOUR contributions of homemade items. Check out those recipe books to get some ideas ahead of time! Happy baking and/or canning! :)

Fresh Flower Booth
